Al-Sanousi presents 'Novel Writing' at 'Al-Omanya'

As part of the Dhofar Autumn 2026 events, award-winning novelist Saud Alsanousi, winner of the International Prize for Arabic Fiction, will lead a workshop titled “Fundamentals of Novel Writing,” organized by the Omani Writers and Authors Association. The workshop will take place from the 20th to the 22nd of this month at the Sultan Qaboos Youth Cultural and Recreational Complex in Salalah, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

The Association clarified that registration for the workshop is open to a limited number of participants. Applicants are required to submit samples of their work or novel drafts via the Association’s dedicated email address, with today, the 15th, serving as the final deadline for submissions.

It is worth noting that Alsanousi was a guest last month at the “Library Talks” initiative, which falls under the umbrella of the “Schools of Life” project. During that event, he participated in a panel discussion titled “A Night Play,” prepared by Al-Khayat at the Etihad Museum. Alsanousi also conducted a workshop at the Etihad Museum titled “Fundamentals of Writing Fiction in Novels.”
