Dawood Hussein: 'Abdul Qader Law' is one of my most beautiful experiences in drama
Director Hussain Dashti has completed filming the new series “Qanun Abdulqader,” which stars a number of prominent Gulf drama actors.
Several cast members shared their joy over the completion of filming with their followers on social media platforms, posting group photos from the behind-the-scenes of the final day, along with heartfelt messages expressing their gratitude to the production team and recalling the most memorable moments they shared during the filming journey.
At the outset, artist Dawood Hussein wrote: “Praise be to God, filming of the series is complete. Thank you to the entire production team. Please forgive me for any shortcomings on my part. May God grant success to all my colleagues in their future projects and to us as well.”
In a message addressed to the series’ director, Hussain Dashti, Dawood said: “It is wonderful to work under the leadership of a director whose character and smile precede him, and who then allows you to engage with his easy and enjoyable creativity. Thank you, star director Hussain Dashti. I have gained you as a brother and a son. Despite all my experiences over the years, I must admit that ‘Qanun Abdulqader’ is among the most beautiful and splendid experiences of my career in drama. Thank you, my friend, for portraying me in such a remarkable dramatic light.”
He also wrote another message to artist Mansour Al-Balushi, saying: “Brilliant Mansour, I am very proud of you. Your stardom stemmed from your self-confidence, the love and respect everyone has for you. This did not come out of nowhere; it came from your excellent upbringing, your humility, your smile, and your pure spirit. My dear son, always aim higher.”
For her part, artist Reem Arhamah addressed artist Dawood Hussein, expressing her gratitude for the experience that brought them together. She wrote: “Dear Dawood, thank you for an experience that added so much to me. Although this is not the first time our professional paths have crossed, every collaboration with you offers a different space for learning and enjoyment. There are people who leave their mark not only through what they say but through how they create their work, and you are one of them. I am very grateful.”
Regarding the series, Arhamah wrote: “I enjoyed and experienced true art in every sense of the word. Thank you to everyone who was part of this experience. I love you all.”
For his part, artist Talal Basim did not hide his gratitude, commenting on Dawood Hussein’s post: “Thank you for everything. Thank you for your trust in me, for your effort, your love, and for embracing the entire cast.”
Meanwhile, artist Talal Basim shared a group photo on his Instagram account, documenting the atmosphere of the filming wrap-up, joining his colleagues in celebrating the conclusion of the filming phase.
Artist Noura Faisal wrote on her Instagram account: “Praise be to God, we have finished filming the series ‘Qanun Abdulqader.’ I really enjoyed and benefited from this beautiful experience.”
It is worth noting that the series is under the general supervision of artist Basim Abdul-Amir, based on an idea by Mansour Al-Balushi, written by Abdullah Hafiz, and directed by Hussain Dashti. The artistic group is producing the series, which stars a number of prominent Gulf drama actors.
