Al-Mushaan: Iranian attacks on Kuwait and Gulf states necessitate a firm international stance

Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Hamad Al-Mis‘aan participated today, Monday, in the proceedings of the third High-Level Forum on Security and Regional Cooperation between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the European Union, held in Brussels.

In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Al-Mis‘aan emphasized that the third edition of the forum builds upon the outcomes of the second edition, which was hosted by Kuwait in October 2025.

He noted that the reprehensible Iranian attacks targeting Kuwait and the GCC member states necessitate a serious stance against such violations, and he commended the solidarity of the European Union and its member states with the GCC countries.

He expressed his aspiration to elevate the partnership between the GCC and the European Union, praising the EU’s role as a strategic partner of the GCC in supporting regional security and stability.
