Washington: US sanctions on Iran apply to all ships

The Joint Maritime Information Center, led by the U.S. Navy, announced that the U.S. naval blockade would apply to all ship movements, regardless of the flag they fly.

It clarified that the blockade covers the entire Iranian coastline, including all Iranian ports and oil export terminals, noting that the measures would apply to various maritime activities associated with Iranian ports and coastal areas.

It added that the imposition of the naval blockade on all Iranian ports and coastal areas would begin at 20:00 UTC on July 14.
