Tenders: KD 13.9 million for data analysis equipment at power stations

The Central Tenders Board has approved the award of a tender to upgrade data collection and analysis equipment for existing power generation stations and main substations, based on observations from the Court of Audit, at a total cost of 13.971 million Kuwaiti dinars, distributed across five items for bids that meet the required conditions and specifications.

The Board has requested that bidders extend the initial performance bond for all participating companies, in accordance with Article 46 of Public Tenders Law No. 49 of 2016, which governs the validity period of bids. The tender aims to upgrade the equipment responsible for collecting data from power generation and transmission stations, ensuring they are fully ready and highly efficient in carrying out their assigned tasks. This initiative is part of the Ministry’s efforts to update and develop the electricity network and its components, including generation and transmission stations, which constitute a fundamental element of the network. The tender enables decision-makers within the Ministry to make informed decisions based on accurate data and information provided by this equipment, thereby facilitating the development of the stations and the formulation of their future plans.
