"Requests": Joining "Kuwait Gastronomy" to Culinary Arts Consultations

As part of its ongoing commitment to empowering small and medium-sized local restaurants in Kuwait, talabat Kuwait announced the partnership of Kuwait Gastronomy for Culinary Arts Consulting (KGCA) as the official training partner for the “talabat grow” program. KGCA is the first non-profit entity in Kuwait specializing in culinary arts, dedicating its efforts to supporting chefs, restaurant and café owners, roasters, coffee specialists, and food and beverage entrepreneurs through training programs, professional certifications, and initiatives aimed at developing the sector.

This collaboration combines talabat’s expertise in the restaurant industry with KGCA’s extensive experience in culinary arts, specialized restaurant consulting, and operational excellence, enabling the delivery of practical training programs with tangible impacts on participating restaurants.

Within the intensive six-week training camp of the “talabat grow” program, KGCA will deliver specialized sessions focused on enhancing restaurant performance, menu engineering, pricing strategies, kitchen operations management, customer behavior analysis, and market trend assessment, alongside competitive benchmarking. These sessions are grounded in the practical experience of the company’s team, which owns and operates several successful restaurants in Kuwait, offering participants direct access to insights and real-world experiences from a select group of industry specialists.

Through the “talabat grow” program, talabat’s restaurant partners receive specialized training, expert mentoring, and practical business development tools, contributing to enhanced operational efficiency, improved performance, and the ability to achieve sustainable growth in an increasingly competitive market.

Commenting on the occasion, Abdullah Al-Mansoor, Head of Corporate Affairs at talabat Kuwait, said: “At talabat, we believe that true growth is built on knowledge, proper guidance, and leveraging specialized expertise. The addition of Kuwait Gastronomy for Culinary Arts Consulting to the talabat grow partner ecosystem represents a significant value-add, as it provides participating restaurants with the opportunity to learn directly from specialists who possess extensive practical experience in Kuwait’s culinary and hospitality sectors. This collaboration embodies our continuous commitment to supporting small and medium-sized enterprises and contributing to the long-term development of Kuwait’s restaurant ecosystem.”

For his part, Chef Faisal Al-Nashmi, Head of Kuwait Gastronomy for Culinary Arts Consulting, stated: “We are proud to join the talabat grow program and contribute to an initiative that invests in the future of Kuwait’s restaurant sector. As culinary specialists and restaurant operators, we are well aware of the opportunities and challenges facing food and beverage companies at various stages of their growth. Through this partnership, we look forward to sharing our practical expertise and market-driven insights, enabling companies to build solid foundations and achieve sustainable long-term success.”

It is worth noting that the talabat grow program, launched in partnership with the National Fund for Small and Medium Enterprises Development and Support, is a comprehensive business development program aimed at empowering local restaurants through expert-led training, mentoring sessions, specialized business insights, and strategic support, helping them unlock their full potential, achieve growth, and contribute to the development of Kuwait’s food sector.

Through strategic partnerships of this kind, Talabat continues to reinforce its vision of achieving sustainable impact for the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) ecosystem in Kuwait, by unifying the efforts of its partners from both the public and private sectors and empowering local businesses with the knowledge, skills, and resources that support their growth and enhance their capacity to thrive.
