FIFA: 6.5 million spectators have attended 2026 World Cup matches so far

FIFA continued to highlight attendance figures for the 2026 World Cup matches, which are being held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, and will run until July 19.
The organization pointed to the massive fan support inside stadiums at the 2026 World Cup, noting that the number of spectators in this edition has surpassed the total attendance of the previous two tournaments.
Four matches remain in the competition, with Spain facing France on Tuesday evening and defending champions England taking on Argentina on Wednesday evening in the semi-finals.
It is worth noting that the 2022 World Cup was held in Qatar, which became the first country to host the tournament in the Arab region and the Middle East, while the 2018 World Cup took place in Russia.
