Pakistan expresses concern over escalating tensions between the United States and Iran and calls for restraint

Pakistan expressed its deep concern on Sunday over the recent escalation in tensions between the United States and Iran, calling on all parties to exercise restraint, according to the Pakistani Foreign Ministry.

The ministry said in a statement that Pakistan had also urged both sides to take immediate steps to de-escalate tensions and fulfill their commitments under the Islamabad Memorandum.

The ministry reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to supporting efforts aimed at achieving lasting peace and stability in the region through dialogue and diplomacy.
