Bahrain declares official mourning and lowers flags to the death of the Amir al-Walid Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa

The Kingdom of Bahrain has declared an official period of mourning and ordered the lowering of flags for four days, starting today, Sunday, in tribute to the passing of Qatar’s Emir Emeritus, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
The Bahraini Royal Court stated in a statement today that King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain has ordered an official period of mourning and the lowering of flags for four days, in honor of the late Emir Emeritus Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, according to the Bahrain News Agency (BNA).
The Qatari Amiri Diwan has announced a nationwide period of mourning for the departure of Emir Emeritus Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, lasting four days, starting today, Sunday.
