Kuwait inaugurates residential village in Yemen

The Al-Najah Charity Association launched the Um Mohammad Al-Hajri residential village project in the Al-Khukha directorate, the temporary center for the coastal Al-Hodeidah province on the Red Sea in western Yemen, as part of the “Kuwait is by your side” campaign in its 12th consecutive year.

Abdulraouf Al-Yousefi, head of the Rouh Al-Ataa Development Foundation, which is implementing the project, told KUNA today that the project includes, in its first phase, the construction of six fully integrated residential units and an artesian well, contributing to providing a stable and safe living environment for beneficiary families.

He noted that the project is part of the humanitarian efforts undertaken by Kuwait and its charitable and relief associations to support the most needy families, provide adequate housing, and improve the level of basic services in targeted areas, especially given the difficult living and economic conditions suffered by affected families.

Al-Yousefi praised the significant humanitarian role played by Kuwait in supporting development and relief projects in Yemen, commending this continuous generosity that helps alleviate the suffering of families and improve their living conditions.
