Egyptian Ambassador: Our relations with Kuwait will remain a model to emulate in the Arab world
The Egyptian Ambassador to Kuwait, Mohamed Abu Al-Wafa, affirmed that the outstanding performance of Egyptian students in the Kuwaiti General Secondary Certificate for the 2025-2026 academic year reflects the quality of the educational environment provided by Kuwait to its own citizens and to members of expatriate communities. It also embodies the deep fraternal and historical ties linking Egypt and Kuwait.
This statement was made during a ceremony honoring top Egyptian students in the Kuwaiti General Secondary Certificate, attended by Mariam Al-Anzi, Director of Private Education Administration at the Ministry of Education, and Mohamed Al-Sayed, Director of Academic Programs at the Arab Open University, alongside parents and members of the Egyptian community.
Abu Al-Wafa expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to Kuwait, its leadership, government, and people, as well as to the Ministry of Education and all those working in the educational sector, for their care and attention toward members of the Egyptian community. He emphasized that the equal educational opportunities provided by Kuwait reflect its humanitarian approach and its commitment to hosting various resident communities.
He stated that Egyptian-Kuwaiti relations will remain a model to emulate in Arab relations, noting that educational cooperation constitutes one of the key pillars of this relationship, contributing to building generations capable of continuing the development process in both countries. He added that the success of Egyptian students in Kuwait is not merely an academic achievement, but also a shared success that reflects the strength of bonds between the two brotherly peoples, and underscores mutual trust and the belief in the importance of investing in human capital and education.
He pointed out that members of the Egyptian community in Kuwait continue to provide exemplary models in various fields, affirming that their success reflects their diligence and distinction, and enhances the community’s status as an active part of Kuwaiti society. He praised the role of parents in supporting their children throughout their academic journey, considering this success as the fruit of collaboration between the family, the school, and the educational environment provided by Kuwait.
He called on students to continue excelling academically and ethically, to serve as ambassadors for their country, and to contribute to consolidating the fraternal and cooperative relations between Egypt and Kuwait. He reaffirmed the Embassy’s commitment to supporting members of the community and celebrating success stories, based on its conviction that they represent an additional bridge to strengthening the historical and robust ties between the two countries and their brotherly peoples.
