“Waiya” Strategic Partner for the Private Universities Council’s “Build Your Future” Campaign

In line with its commitment to supporting and empowering youth to make informed future decisions, Weyay Bank, Kuwait’s first digital bank, announced a strategic partnership with the General Secretariat of the Council of Private Universities as part of the “Build Your Future” campaign. The initiative aims to help students explore their educational and career options and choose academic pathways that align with their ambitions and labor market needs.

The partnership was discussed during a meeting attended by Dr. Jassem Al-Ali, Secretary-General of the Council of Private Universities; Fahad Al-Khalifa, Director of the Internal Scholarships Department at the Council’s General Secretariat; Amal Al-Duwaisan, President of Weyay Bank; Mohammed Al-Wazzan, Assistant to the Vice President for Sales Force Management at National Bank of Kuwait; and Salem Al-Rashidi, Relations Officer.

During the meeting, the parties discussed ways to collaborate on implementing awareness initiatives, programs, and interactive activities targeting students and their parents. These efforts aim to enhance awareness of available academic options, help students understand various majors and their requirements, and support them in making more informed decisions regarding their academic and professional futures.

On this occasion, Amal Al-Duwaisan, President of Weyay Bank, emphasized that investing in youth is a fundamental pillar of the bank’s vision. She noted that the collaboration with the Council of Private Universities reflects Weyay’s commitment to supporting students during critical stages of their educational journey.

For his part, Dr. Jassem Al-Ali, Secretary-General of the Council of Private Universities, highlighted the importance of supporting initiatives that equip youth with the knowledge and guidance necessary to make decisions that shape their futures. He affirmed that the cooperation with Weyay Bank aims to provide experiences and initiatives that enrich students’ understanding of available academic and career opportunities, helping them chart their future paths with greater confidence and clarity.

The meeting also explored the possibility of organizing events, workshops, and joint activities across various locations under the “Build Your Future” campaign.
