Statistics issued today by the Real Estate Registration and Documentation Department at the Ministry of Justice showed that 157 real estate contracts were traded during the week from June 21 to 25, with a total value of approximately 82.3 million dinars.
The statistics, published on the Ministry’s website, indicated that private real estate contracts led the market with 116 contracts valued at 43.6 million dinars, followed by investment real estate contracts in second place with 38 contracts valued at 24.9 million dinars. Meanwhile, commercial real estate saw two contracts traded, valued at 11.5 million dinars.
The department clarified that warehouse real estate recorded one contract valued at 2.3 million dinars. It further noted that real estate contract transactions were distributed as follows: 11 private real estate contracts and two investment contracts in the Capital Governorate, while 11 private real estate contracts and 14 investment contracts were traded in Hawalli Governorate.
