Capital Governorate Security Directorate Arrests Wanted Individuals and Offenders in a Broad Security Campaign

The Directorates of Security Affairs Sector, represented by the Capital Governorate Security Directorate, and the Environmental Police Department, conducted an extensive security campaign under the supervision of the Sector Head, Brigadier General Haqqawi Abdulaziz Bandar Al-Omar, and the Director General of the Capital Governorate Security Directorate, Brigadier General Mohammed Ahmed Rajab, in cooperation with the Kuwait Municipality. The campaign targeted the apprehension of wanted individuals and violators, pursued lawbreakers, and enhanced security presence across various areas.

The campaign resulted in the arrest of several wanted individuals and violators, with the following outcomes:

Capital Governorate Security Directorate: Arrested 112 wanted individuals on account of absconding cases, 48 violators of the Residency Law, 14 casual laborers, 11 wanted individuals on account of criminal cases, 6 vehicles subject to judicial seizure, 7 wanted individuals in civil cases with total financial amounts totaling 144,065 Kuwaiti Dinars, 5 individuals in cases involving possession of narcotics, 3 wanted individuals on account of theft, breach of trust, and possession of narcotics for personal use, 2 individuals engaged in gambling, and 2 individuals whose identities could not be verified.

As for the Environmental Police, they issued 19 environmental violations, and the Kuwait Municipality removed 198 vehicles. In the traffic sector, several traffic violations were issued, and several individuals and motorcycles were impounded in accordance with standard procedures.

This campaign is part of the continuous security efforts by the Ministry of Interior to enhance security presence, pursue wanted individuals and violators, and combat all practices that violate the law. Necessary legal measures have been taken against the violators.
