Salim Al-Hajri Group Achieves KD 2.05 Million Net Profit

Adnan Al-Adwani, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, announced that the results of Al-Salmiya Group for Project Development (a subsidiary, 81.9% owned by Al-Tijariya Al-Aqaria) for the financial period ending on September 30, 2026, yielded net profits of KD 2.05 million.

Commenting on the third-quarter 2026 financial results, Al-Adwani stated that the achieved results reflect stability in operational performance and an improvement in investment revenues, supported by the continued development of the company’s projects and operational facilities. Return on equity stood at 5.7%, return on assets at 3.9%, and return on capital at 6.84%.

Al-Adwani emphasized that Al-Salmiya Group for Project Development continues to enhance the role of its projects, led by Boulevard Park, as a vibrant destination for families and the community, by supporting recreational and community activities and striving to elevate the visitor experience and develop services and facilities to meet the needs of various segments.

Al-Adwani also noted that the company is preparing to commence work on its integrated commercial project in the Qairawan area, in collaboration with the Public Authority for Housing Welfare, as part of its expansion plan to develop flagship projects serving different segments of society. The project includes a commercial complex, a health club, and public parking facilities. The company is currently finalizing preliminary procedures to begin construction works in accordance with the approved project timeline.

In line with its strategy to diversify its international investments and expand its portfolio of income-generating assets, Al-Salmiya invested in two income-generating logistics and transportation centers in Texas, United States of America.

Al-Adwani further affirmed Al-Salmiya Group for Project Development’s commitment to embedding environmental, social, and governance (ESG) sustainability principles by continuing to adopt community and environmental initiatives, driven by its social responsibility and belief in the importance of supporting activities that contribute to serving the community and enhancing sustainability concepts, thereby achieving a positive and sustainable impact.

Within the community initiatives witnessed during the third quarter of 2026, Boulevard Park continued its role as a sponsor by hosting a heart health awareness campaign organized by Al-Tijariya Al-Aqaria in collaboration with the Kuwait Heart Association. The campaign included free blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol tests, alongside health guidance provided by the Association’s medical team, aiming to raise awareness about the importance of regular check-ups and early detection.

The third quarter of 2026 also saw the organization of Al-Salmiya Boulevard’s interactive summer program, “By Screen… Away from the Screen,” in partnership with the “Your Child is Your Educational Ambassador” initiative. The program featured a series of educational and recreational activities for children under the theme “We Plant and We Protect.” The events aimed to introduce children to the importance of agriculture, greening, and environmental conservation through interactive experiences that combine learning and entertainment, contributing to the development of their skills and fostering creativity and exploration, thereby enabling them to engage in meaningful experiences that enrich their time and leave a positive, lasting impact.

Regarding environmental initiatives, the company continued during the third quarter of 2026 to implement its weekly initiative to distribute saplings to visitors of Boulevard Park under the slogan “Plant Today…”
