U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that it disabled a commercial vessel in the Gulf of Oman that attempted to breach the naval blockade imposed on Iran. In a statement posted on its official X account, CENTCOM said U.S. forces disabled the ship after its civilian crew ignored repeated warnings and attempted to violate the blockade. The statement clarified that a U.S. fighter jet fired precision munitions at the stern of the vessel, named Huda, which flew the flag of Saint Kitts and Nevis, thereby disabling it, after CENTCOM forces ordered the crew to evacuate the targeted sections of the ship. It noted that the targeted vessel was attempting to leave territorial waters after departing from an Iranian port.
