Medical Liability Authority launches electronic service for requesting 'To Whom It May Concern' certificates

Translated by Qiyas from الأنباء — Original source

The Medical Accountability Authority announced the launch of the “Request a Certificate for Whom It May Concern” service through its e-services portal, as part of the Authority’s efforts to develop its services, streamline procedures for beneficiaries, save time and effort, and enable them to complete their transactions remotely without the need to visit the Authority in person.

The service allows users to submit requests, pay fees, and receive certificates electronically. It covers three types of certificates: a non-objection certificate, a statement regarding complaints, and a certificate of penalties and complaints under review referred to the Authority.

The fee for issuing a certificate is 20 Kuwaiti dinars. The transaction is completed and the certificate is issued within three working days from the date of fee payment, and it remains valid for three months.

To avail of the service, users visit the Authority’s website at amr.gov.kw, select “Services,” then “Request Certificates,” log in via the “Huwiyati” application, and complete authentication. They then specify their status and the type of certificate required, enter contact details, complete the form, attach any required documents, and submit the request.

After the request is reviewed and approved, users receive a notification through the “Sahel” application to pay the fees electronically via “K-NET.” Once the certificate is issued, it can be downloaded from the e-services portal, and a copy is also sent via the “Sahel” application.

The certificate is issued 100% electronically and is valid without requiring a signature or stamp.
