Andorra Goalkeeper After Death of De Miguel: 'These Are the Hardest Days of My Life'

Andorra goalkeeper Jesus Owono broke his silence, stating that he is living through the “most difficult days” of his life, following the death of Tenerife striker Jesus de Miguel, who had collided violently with him during a Spanish second-division football match. In a statement published by his club Andorra, Owono said, “These are the most difficult days of my life. I find it hard to find the words, and it is very difficult for me to process what happened. I feel immense pain over Jesus’s passing. I am thinking of him, his family, and all the people who loved him.” The goalkeeper had also closed all his personal social media accounts.
