Central Agency and Court of Audit Discuss Enhancing Cooperation and Streamlining Regulatory Procedures

The Central Agency for Addressing the Status of Illegal Residents held talks today, Wednesday, with the Court of Accounts on areas of cooperation and joint coordination, work mechanisms, and streamlining regulatory procedures to enhance performance efficiency and expedite the processing of cases.

In a press statement, the Central Agency said that its Chairman, Saleh Al-Fadala, met with officials from the Court of Accounts at his office. The meeting was followed by a coordination session chaired by the Acting Secretary-General of the Agency, Brigadier General Dr. Sharif Al-Kandari, attended by several agency officials and leaders, as well as representatives of the Court.

The statement added that the meeting addressed matters of mutual interest and ways to develop joint work mechanisms and streamline regulatory procedures in the public interest.

Both sides emphasized, according to the statement, the importance of maintaining direct communication, complementing each other’s roles, and removing procedural obstacles to ensure smooth operations and the development of joint pathways within established frameworks and regulations.
