Our ambassador to Algeria, Nawaf Boushbeeba, held talks with Algerian Minister of Justice Lotfi Boujmâa on ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the judicial and legal fields, as well as preparations for the upcoming meeting of Arab ministers of justice, scheduled to be held in Algeria at the end of next week.
The Algerian embassy stated in a press release that these discussions took place on Monday during the Algerian Minister of Justice’s reception of Ambassador Boushbeeba, at which our ambassador extended congratulations on the occasion of the Algerian Revolution of Independence.
The statement noted that both sides praised during the meeting “the level of historical relations between the two brotherly countries,” and commended “bilateral cooperation in the judicial and legal fields through signed agreements and memoranda of understanding in this area.”
It further indicated that both sides reaffirmed “the need to strengthen coordination, exchange visits, training programs, and plans to modernize the justice sector, particularly given the mutual aspiration to exchange expertise in the digital transformation and development of this sector.”
