Kuwait University participates in regional meeting of the Global Research Council for the Middle East and North Africa

Alaa Khalifa: Kuwait University participated in the 2026 Regional Meeting of the Global Research Council for the Middle East and North Africa region, organized by the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences in collaboration with the National Council for Scientific Research in Lebanon. Representing the university at the meeting was Dr. Mabhouth Mohammed Al-Dosari, Assistant Vice President for Research for External Research Cooperation and Consultations, who is participating as a speaker in one of the sessions on the second day of the meeting, which brings together heads and representatives of research funding and support councils and bodies, as well as research institutions from the region and beyond. The meeting aims to exchange views and expertise on priority issues in research and innovation, and to explore ways to enhance regional and international scientific cooperation, thereby contributing to the development of scientific research and strengthening its developmental impact.
