Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, held talks yesterday with Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ayman Safadi, and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, to discuss the latest regional developments.
The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in two separate statements that these discussions took place during two phone calls, during which the parties reviewed bilateral cooperation relations and ways to support and strengthen them, as well as the latest regional developments, particularly diplomatic efforts and joint coordination to de-escalate tensions and enhance security and stability in the region.
During the calls, the Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister reaffirmed Qatar’s support for all diplomatic efforts and initiatives aimed at achieving a solution that guarantees freedom of maritime navigation and paves the way for a comprehensive agreement that ensures lasting peace in the region.
