Cairo – Ahmed Sabri: The Media Center of the Council of Ministers issued a statement via its social media platforms, clarifying the truth behind rumors circulating about an order to extend the mid-year school holiday for students from 15 to 30 days. The Center, after contacting the Ministry of Education and Technical Education, confirmed that no such decisions to extend the mid-year holiday have been issued. It noted that the holiday will begin on its scheduled date, in accordance with the timetable for the current academic year, starting on Saturday, January 23, 2027, and lasting for two weeks, with no changes to its timing or duration. The Media Center of the Council of Ministers called on parents and students to avoid falling for rumors and false information, to verify the accuracy of any information being circulated, and to rely on official statements from relevant authorities to obtain correct information.
