The Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, Dr. Subaih Al-Mukhaimis, received the Japanese Ambassador to Kuwait, Kentaro Mukai, to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation in water desalination technologies.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for cooperation between the two countries, exchanged technical expertise, and explored the utilization of modern Japanese technologies in water desalination, aligned with the Ministry’s needs and future projects, thereby contributing to improving production efficiency and strengthening water security in the State of Kuwait.
The meeting comes in the context of the commitment to strengthening Kuwait-Japanese relations and expanding cooperation in sectors of mutual interest, in a manner that serves the interests of both friendly countries.
