Experts confirm that gold's declines are a natural correction and warn against hasty selling.

Two economic experts affirmed that the recent declines in gold prices represent a natural correction phase following a wave of record highs, amid shifting investor sentiment and the redistribution of liquidity across various investment assets.
Faisal Walid Al-Jassim, an analyst and certified capital markets trainer, told Al-Anbaa that selling pressure resulted from widespread profit-taking, coinciding with the strength of the US dollar and rising yields on US Treasury bonds, which enhanced the attractiveness of other investment instruments.
He noted that the losses incurred by some gold bullion holders in Kuwait remain unrealized and paper-based as long as the bullion has not been sold, urging investors to avoid hasty sales under market volatility pressures and emphasizing the importance of phasing purchases rather than deploying all available liquidity at once.
For his part, economic consumer behavior expert Salah Al-Jemaim said that signs of geopolitical de-escalation, stabilized interest rates, and the reevaluation of investment portfolios contributed to the decline in demand for the yellow metal.
He pointed out that improved corporate earnings and the attractiveness of stocks are driving some investors to diversify their investments, stressing the importance of monitoring global political and economic developments before making investment decisions.
The most prominent question for investors remains: Does the current correction wave present a buying opportunity, or does it warrant further caution?
