Driver Arrested for Reckless Driving, Transferred to Central Prison, and Vehicle Impounded

As part of the Ministry of Interior’s ongoing efforts to combat reckless driving and protect road users, the Ahmadi Governorate Security Directorate apprehended a vehicle modified for reckless behavior in the Ali Sabah Al-Salem area.

The apprehension followed surveillance and field monitoring operations conducted by the Vehicle Traffic Management Section of the Operations and Patrols Department, which identified the vehicle after its driver was seen in a viral video circulating on social media platforms engaging in reckless acts.

The vehicle was seized and transferred to the Ali Sabah Al-Salem Police Station, and a case was filed against its owner for endangering the lives of others. The vehicle was impounded and stored in the impound lot. The General Directorate of Traffic, represented by the Security Control Department, successfully tracked down and arrested the driver. Legal measures were taken against him, and he was referred to the Central Prison. The vehicle was also crushed.

The Ministry of Interior reaffirms its continued efforts to monitor and apprehend violations related to reckless driving, and to apply the law firmly against anyone who endangers the lives of others, in order to safeguard the security and safety of all road users.
