Chief of Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Khaled Al-Sharhan, emphasized the importance of continuing to strengthen digital transformation and leveraging modern technologies to support the military and security systems. The Chief of Staff’s office stated in a press release that this came during Lieutenant General Al-Sharhan’s visit to the National Security Network Data Center Directorate, where he received a comprehensive briefing on the directorate’s key tasks and responsibilities, ongoing technical projects, and future modernization and development plans to keep pace with the latest systems in communications and networks. According to the statement, Lieutenant General Al-Sharhan praised the efforts of the personnel at the National Security Network Data Center, commending their role in enhancing coordination and integration among military and security entities, represented by the Army, the Ministry of Interior, the National Guard, and the General Fire Department. He underscored the importance of continuing joint coordination and intensifying training and capacity-building efforts to ensure the effective and sustainable operation of the network.
