Deputy Minister of Health and Ayman Al-Mutawa Selected for 'Union Leaders' List for 2026

The Arab Hospitals Federation announced via its official channels that Kuwaiti Health Ministry Undersecretary Sheikh Dr. Salman Khalifa Al-Sabah and Dr. Ayman Salem Al-Mutawa, Chief Executive Officer of Al-Salam Hospitals, have been selected for the “AHF Leaders Select 2026” list, which includes 35 influential leaders and figures in the healthcare sector across the Arab world.

The selection of the two Kuwaiti names recognizes their efforts and contributions to the health sector, as part of the “Federation Leaders” initiative launched by the Arab Hospitals Federation to honor leaders whose sustained efforts have made a tangible impact on healthcare, enhanced institutional performance, elevated standards, and supported workforce teams.

The Federation clarified through its accounts that the selection reflects its continuous monitoring of the regional healthcare sector and its institutional review, conducted by a jury panel under its executive board, drawing on its 26 years of experience in tracking the development of healthcare institutions and their leadership. The initiative does not rely on application submissions, general nominations, or fees, with details of the award ceremony to be announced later.
