Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Hamad Al-Mushaan participated in welcoming His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister of the sister Kingdom of Bahrain, along with the heads of delegations from Arab states participating in the proceedings of the 22nd edition of the Manama Dialogue 2026, in his capacity as head of the State of Kuwait’s delegation to the event.
During the meeting, the enduring fraternal relations binding Arab states were reviewed, and the importance of continuing to strengthen Arab coordination and cooperation was emphasized, alongside exchanging views on key regional and international developments and efforts aimed at enhancing security and stability in the region.
Ambassador Hamad Al-Mushaan also met with Pekka Haavisto, the UN Secretary-General’s Personal Envoy for Sudan, on the sidelines of his participation in the 22nd edition of the Manama Dialogue, held in the sister Kingdom of Bahrain.
The meeting reviewed the latest developments in the sister Republic of Sudan and the regional and international efforts undertaken to address the Sudanese crisis, while reaffirming the importance of supporting initiatives aimed at achieving a peaceful solution that enhances security and stability, and preserves Sudan’s unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
