The General Directorate for Combating Narcotics successfully arrested five suspects in four separate cases involving the trafficking and use of narcotics and psychoactive substances, as part of ongoing security efforts to combat these activities and apprehend those involved.
The cases resulted in the seizure of the following: 4,000 capsules of the psychoactive substance Lyrica; 4 kilograms of Lyrica powder; 170 grams of methamphetamine (shabu); 15 sheets saturated with the narcotic substance chemical; 1 gram of the narcotic chemical; 5 grams of cannabis (hashish); 1 gram of cocaine; and 4 sensitive scales.
It was noted that the suspects and seized items have been referred to the competent authorities to take the necessary legal action against them.
