Matches of the seventh round of the Zain Premier League kick off tomorrow, Saturday, with two fixtures. The first sees table-topping Al-Thamadi, with no points, face Al-Sahel, who have four points, at the Al-Awda Stadium in the Farwaniya area. In the second match, Al-Salmiya, with nine points, host Al-Salmiya, who have three points, at the Jaber Al-Ahmad Stadium in the Al-Salmiya district.
Al-Thamadi enter tomorrow’s match following the dismissal of their former Bosnian coach Igor Rimić and the appointment of national coach Adel Marzouq. They have lost all their previous matches, conceding 29 goals. Al-Sahel, on the other hand, started well but their form deteriorated in recent games, and they lost their last match 3-0 to Al-Nasr.
As for the Al-Salmiya versus Al-Salmiya clash, both teams are aiming to improve their standings, particularly Al-Salmiya, who currently sit in sixth place having played one fewer match than some of their rivals up to this round.
