U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) denied Iranian claims that commercial vessels were colliding with naval mines while transiting the Strait of Hormuz. In a statement posted on its official X account, CENTCOM said: “Iranian-controlled media outlets have recently reported Iranian allegations that commercial ships are hitting naval mines while passing through the Strait of Hormuz. These claims are false.” It added that “U.S. forces have cleared all internationally recognized main transit routes through the Strait of Hormuz of naval mines, and they remain mine-free. Thousands of commercial vessels have safely used these transit routes, and continue to do so to this day.”

Meanwhile, Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki, official spokesperson for the Coalition Support for Legitimacy forces in Yemen, stated that air defenses intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile launched by the so-called Houthi terrorist militia toward the Eastern Province early yesterday morning. The announcement followed a statement by Saudi Civil Defense declaring that the danger had passed in the Eastern Province, after an alert was issued by the National Early Warning Platform for Emergency Situations in the Eastern Province.

In Najran, Civil Defense issued two alerts during the day indicating that the danger had passed in the Najran region and city. Civil Defense urged the public to continue following its instructions and to completely avoid gatherings and photography.

In Yemen, Yemeni government forces announced they carried out 982 targeting operations over 24 hours, striking Houthi militia reinforcements and positions. It added that warplanes targeted a Houthi training camp in the Al-Ashaab area west of Taiz city in two air raids.

For his part, Transport Minister Mohsen Al-Amri announced yesterday the resumption of operations at Aden International Airport, following its temporary suspension due to shelling by the so-called Houthi terrorist militia.
