Wouroud Bank announced its participation in supporting and empowering the “INNOVARTISM” educational initiative, which aims to support Kuwaiti talents with autism and neurodiversity. This is achieved through sponsoring an intensive and innovative training program focused on preparing high-functioning autistic individuals and enhancing their creative and digital capabilities, thereby facilitating their integration into the labor market and future job opportunities.

This initiative aligns with Wouroud Bank’s commitment to its role in corporate social responsibility and sustainable development, its dedication to supporting national talents and enhancing opportunities for the most vulnerable groups, and its contribution to building a knowledge- and innovation-based economy, in line with governance and community responsibility standards.

The core idea of the initiative is to bridge the gap between creative perception and professional performance among high-functioning autistic individuals. It features a training program that combines innovation, art, and artificial intelligence to develop participants’ skills and equip them with modern digital tools tailored to the evolving demands of the labor market.

The program offers a specialized training experience that enables participants to learn various concepts and skills related to design thinking, arts, and content creation using artificial intelligence technologies. This enhances their creative abilities and opens new horizons for leveraging their talents in future professional fields.

The intensive training program lasted one week, from October 25 to 31, with five hours of training per day, and targeted 15 participants with high-functioning autism.

During the program, participants trained in areas including design thinking, art principles, and AI-based content creation, providing them with the opportunity to develop their skills in a training environment that combines knowledge, application, and creativity.

The program concluded by awarding participants joint experience certificates endorsed by the participating entities, including Wouroud Bank and MBVISION. The initiative was led by Manal Al-Gharbali, CEO and founder, with support from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in providing specialized trainers and the Autism Center.

Commenting on this context, H.E. Abdullah Al-Rashid, Head of the Human Resources and Public Services Group at Wouroud Bank, stated: “The initiative aims to achieve direct social and developmental impact by supporting the integration of youth with autism into the private sector workforce, while providing them with free professional and technical training opportunities.”

Al-Rashid added: “This direction highlights the importance of providing practical pathways for talents with special needs, giving them the opportunity to develop their skills and leverage their creative and technical capabilities, thereby enhancing their presence and participation in the work environment.”
