Ministry of Youth and Sports signs MoU with Boeing to establish Kuwait Tech Entrepreneurship Hub

The General Authority for Youth and Sports signed a memorandum of understanding with global aviation company Boeing to establish the Kuwait Technological Entrepreneurship Hub.

Bashar Abdullah, Acting Director General of the Authority, stated in a statement that the creation of a technological entrepreneurship hub in collaboration with Boeing represents a qualitative leap in training and qualifying young people engaged in entrepreneurship through innovative scientific and practical methods.

Abdullah emphasized that the Authority, in partnership with Boeing, is committed to implementing the project at the highest level to achieve its intended objectives of supporting and empowering Kuwaiti youth in technical, technological, and entrepreneurial fields. He clarified that the project aims to transfer knowledge, technology, and expertise from Boeing, its partners, and global companies to aspiring entrepreneurs through specialized programs that contribute to developing their practical and technical skills and capabilities.

He added that the project seeks to connect entrepreneurs and startups with global accelerators, including those operated by Boeing, thereby opening broader horizons for development, growth, and engagement with global expertise and markets.

The memorandum was signed on behalf of the Authority by Acting Director General Bashar Abdullah, and on behalf of Boeing by Assistant Al-Holi, CEO of Boeing Kuwait.
