The Yemeni Armed Forces announced yesterday the execution of 749 precise strike operations against the military capabilities of the Houthi militias over a 24-hour period as part of Operation “Fajr al-Yemen.”
In a statement, Colonel Majid al-Nazili, the official spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, explained that the operations resulted in the neutralization of 239 Houthi militia leaders and fighters, as well as the destruction and damage of 117 combat vehicles, machinery, and equipment.
He stated that the strikes targeted the militias’ field command centers, fortifications, firing positions, reinforcements, and movement and supply means across various fronts and axes.
He added that the operations contributed to suppressing fire sources, disrupting the militias’ field command, and depriving their forward positions of support and resupply.
He noted that units of the Yemeni Armed Forces and the Popular Resistance continued in Taiz Governorate to consolidate their field gains and expand pressure on Houthi positions, pointing to the continuation of offensive operations on the fronts of Al-Jawf, Marib, Al-Bayda, and the southern and southwestern fronts.
He affirmed that the Yemeni Armed Forces remain committed to carrying out their missions in accordance with the operational plan, while taking necessary precautions to protect civilians and civilian objects.
