The 23rd preparatory meeting of the Supreme Military Committee of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states was held today, Tuesday, with the attendance of the assistants to the chiefs of operations staff of the armed forces of the GCC member states. The Bahrain News Agency reported that the meeting was chaired by Bahraini Assistant Chief of Operations Staff, Major General Ghanim Al-Fadalah, and attended by Assistant Secretary-General for Military Affairs at the GCC Secretariat General, Major General Salman Al-Fadalah, as well as a representative of the GCC Unified Military Command. During the meeting, agenda items aimed at enhancing defense integration and military cooperation among the armed forces of the GCC member states were discussed. These items will be submitted to the chiefs of operations staff of the armed forces of the GCC states.
