Official spokesperson for the Coalition forces, Major General Turki Al-Maliki, stated that, in exercise of the inherent and legitimate right to self-defense to protect the security and territorial integrity of the Kingdom, as well as the safety of its citizens and residents, and in response to repeated attacks by the Houthi terrorist militia attempting to target civilians and civilian objects in Saudi Arabia and Yemen using ballistic missiles and drones, the Joint Forces Command of the Coalition carried out a distinctive military operation to neutralize threat sources.
