Foreign Ministers of Bahrain and Syria Discuss Reviving the Joint Committee and Previously Signed MoUs

Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani met with his Syrian counterpart, Asaad Al-Shaybani, during the latter’s visit to Manama yesterday. The Syrian News Agency (SANA) reported that the meeting discussed bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to enhance and develop them across various fields, in line with shared interests. The parties also discussed reactivating the Syrian-Bahraini Joint Committee and previously signed agreements and memoranda of understanding, to contribute to strengthening cooperation between the two brotherly nations.
