She added that modern technology and artificial intelligence have become primary drivers for enhancing the efficiency of judicial and legal work, contributing to the delivery of timely justice and ensuring rights reach their rightful owners. Al-Suwaiyan noted that artificial intelligence represents an opportunity to develop legal research, manage cases, and save time, emphasizing that it is a supportive tool for lawyers and judges and cannot replace a lawyer’s experience, wisdom, and responsibility in defending rights. He underscored the necessity of adhering to confidentiality, independence, and professional and ethical standards.

He added that recent legislative developments in Kuwait, including the law regulating expertise, the establishment of economic courts, and new arbitration rules, represent important steps toward modernizing the justice system. He affirmed the importance of continuing cooperation with the Ministry of Justice to develop legislation, particularly the law regulating the legal profession, in line with digital transformation. For his part, Abdel Halim Alam, President of the Arab Lawyers Union and Bar Association of the Arab Republic of Egypt, affirmed that artificial intelligence and modern technology open wide horizons for developing the legal profession. He stressed the necessity of utilizing these tools to enhance the protection of rights and freedoms while preserving the independence of lawyers and the ethical values of the profession.

In his speech at the Second Kuwaiti Legal Conference, themed “The Global Summit of Innovative Lawyers,” Alam emphasized that the essence of the legal profession lies in defending human dignity and achieving justice. Speaking at the Second Kuwaiti Legal Conference, Abl noted that the Kuwait Lawyers Association has achieved professional milestones over the past years that reflect the excellence of Kuwaiti lawyers. He underscored the importance of focusing on the quality of initiatives and events and their tangible impact on developing the profession, rather than merely counting their number.
