Ahmad Maaroufi, Head of Shared Services and Business Development at Alghanim & Sons Automotive Company, stated, “This championship brings together the elite of padel players worldwide on Kuwaiti soil, putting Kuwait’s name on the global sports map. Our participation in this event was not merely a commercial sponsorship, but a natural extension of a long-standing journey in which Alghanim & Sons has supported initiatives that elevate Kuwait’s name at regional and international forums. We believe that the success of any national institution is measured by what it contributes to its country and society, not just by the figures it achieves. This sponsorship embodies our firm commitment to our social responsibility and our dedication to placing youth and sports at the core of our priorities. Today, sports is not just about competition; it is a healthy lifestyle, a platform for communication among peoples, and a window through which the world gets to know Kuwait, its people, and their generosity in hospitality.”
He added, “In this context, I cannot help but recall the vision of our Board Chairman, Eng. Fahad Alghanim, who has always believed that investing in the Kuwaiti human capital is the most important investment. From this vision, we proceed to empower athletes, giving them the opportunity to interact with world champions, gain experience, and reach international podiums.”
Kuwaiti sons and daughters have proven in padel, as in other sports, that they are capable of competing and excelling when provided with support and confidence. Kuwait’s hosting of a championship of this scale sends a clear message: our country is capable of hosting and organizing the largest global sporting events to the highest standards. We are proud to be partners in conveying this message to the world.
