Kuwait International Bank (KIB) concluded its participation in the fifth edition of the “My Job” exhibition, held from October 15 to 17 at Arena Mall 360 Hall. The bank’s participation underscored its commitment to supporting Kuwaiti youth and graduates, helping them explore promising career paths in the banking sector. This year’s edition attracted a group of high-achieving Grade 12 students from the Canadian Bilingual School, alongside an interactive experience powered by artificial intelligence to help visitors discover job opportunities aligned with their skills and aspirations.

Commenting on KIB’s continued participation in the exhibition, Hadi Hadi, Acting Human Resources Director at KIB, said: “Our participation for the fourth consecutive year in Kuwait’s largest and most prominent job fair reflects our belief that Kuwaiti youth are the cornerstone of the country’s future development, and our ongoing commitment to nurturing their capabilities and preparing them for the labor market. At KIB, we continuously strive to engage with ambitious young talent, introduce them to the diverse career paths available in the banking sector, and equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary for success. We are proud to participate again in this important national initiative that brings together leading employers and the next generation of national talent.”

Over the three days of the exhibition, KIB’s human resources team received job seekers at the bank’s booth, introduced them to available positions, and provided information about the work environment and professional development opportunities. The team also highlighted the importance of responsible financial practices, in line with the national “Let’s Be Aware” campaign launched by the Central Bank of Kuwait in collaboration with the Kuwait Banks Association and local banks.

The bank offered visitors the opportunity to undergo an interactive experience to identify their professional profiles using artificial intelligence. Through an interactive platform equipped with illuminated buttons, participants answered a series of short questions related to their skills, interests, and workplace preferences. Within one to two minutes, the platform generated a customized professional profile for each participant, including suggestions for career paths suited to their potential, as well as identifying opportunities at the bank that might align with their profile.

In this context, Hadi explained: “KIB is committed to adopting innovative approaches that enable young talent to discover job opportunities that match their capabilities. Our AI-powered interactive experience at the exhibition provided a new way to explore professional interests and identify potential career paths. By combining technology with the expertise of our team, we aimed to make the recruitment experience more interactive and informative, helping candidates discover opportunities that align with their skills and aspirations.”

As part of the bank’s initiative, KIB participated in the exhibition with a number of high-achieving Grade 12 students from the Canadian Bilingual School, who volunteered to welcome visitors, interact with candidates, and support the recruitment team in promoting the professional opportunities available at the bank.
