Kuwait officials: The General Authority for Manpower announced that the electronic linkage system with the Central Bank’s platform for verifying wage payments to workers involves eight sequential electronic steps, beginning with the employer submitting a wage payment request and ending with the electronic transmission of payment results to the Authority.

In a recent report issued by the Authority, it was clarified that the first step involves the employer submitting a wage payment request, followed by the second step, in which the employer’s bank receives the wage data. The third step entails electronically transmitting the data through the Central Bank to the Wage Protection Platform.

The Authority added that the fourth step consists of the General Authority for Manpower receiving the wage data. In the fifth step, the Authority verifies this data and cross-checks it with the workers registered with it. The sixth step includes the Authority’s approval and authorization of the payment after verifying the data.

The process then moves to the beneficiary’s bank in the seventh step to execute the wage payment, before reaching the eighth and final step, which involves electronically sending the payment results to the Authority.

The Authority emphasized that the electronic linkage aims to strengthen oversight of salary disbursements, conduct pre-verification of payment transactions, eliminate manual requirements between banks, link oversight with payment outcomes, and identify workers entitled to wages.
