The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jassem Al-Budaiwi, expressed his strong condemnation and outrage at the two heinous terrorist attacks carried out by the Houthi terrorist militia, which targeted King Fahd International Airport in Dammam and the Shaybah oil field in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, resulting in the deaths of four people and injuries to ten others, alongside material damage to the targeted civilian facilities.
In a statement, Al-Budaiwi said that these treacherous attacks reflect the Houthi militia’s determination to continue its criminal approach of targeting civilians and vital infrastructure. He reaffirmed the GCC states’ full and steadfast solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, standing united with it against any threats to its security, sovereignty, and stability, and supporting all measures taken to protect its territory, citizens, residents, and vital assets and infrastructure.
On another note, the Arab Interior Ministers Council condemned the continued Houthi terrorist attacks targeting civilians, civilian objects, and economic facilities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Council’s Secretariat General stated in a press release that it is closely monitoring the ongoing hostile actions carried out by the Houthi terrorist militia, including deliberate attempts to target civilians, civilian objects, and economic facilities in the Kingdom using missiles and drones.
The statement expressed the Arab Interior Ministers Council’s firm condemnation of these repeated attacks, considering them part of the militia’s hostile behavior toward the Kingdom and its continuous efforts to undermine security and stability in the region. The statement emphasized the necessity of holding those responsible for these acts accountable, reaffirming the Council’s full solidarity with the Kingdom in the face of these hostile actions and its absolute support for all measures undertaken to confront these threats and protect the Kingdom’s interests, security, stability, territorial integrity, citizens, and residents.
