Justice Minister and Advisor Nasser Al-Sameet affirmed the commitment to elevating cooperation and coordination between the Ministry and the Supreme Council of the Judiciary to the highest levels, and to providing the administrative, financial, and technical needs of the judicial apparatus. He stressed that the goal is singular: serving justice, facilitating public access to it, and accelerating the realization of people’s rights.

This came in a statement issued by the Ministry on Thursday, following Advisor Al-Sameet’s visit to the Palace of Justice, where he met with the President of the Supreme Council of the Judiciary and the First Counselor of the Court of Cassation, Hani Al-Humaidan; the Vice President of the Supreme Council of the Judiciary and Vice President of the Court of Cassation, First Counselor Derrar Al-Waqian; and the President of the Court of Appeal and member of the Supreme Council of the Judiciary, First Counselor Tariq Al-Jaber.

Al-Sameet said that great hopes are placed on the Supreme Council of the Judiciary in serving the judiciary and litigants, and in translating the high directives of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, into consolidating justice and safeguarding rights and freedoms.

He expressed congratulations on the esteemed royal confidence and their appointments to their judicial positions, wishing them success and prosperity in bearing this national trust.

He clarified that the impact of this cooperation should be felt by litigants in the ease of procedures and the swift resolution of their cases, emphasizing that serving the people and safeguarding their rights lies at the core of shared responsibility.

Accompanying the Justice Minister during the visit were Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice Awatef Al-Sand and Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Technical and Administrative Affairs, Nouf Al-Qabandi.
