The official spokesperson for the coalition forces, the “Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen,” Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki, announced in a statement carried by the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA) that four drones were intercepted and destroyed in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom.
Meanwhile, the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation announced the death of a resident and injuries to eight others following an attack on King Fahd International Airport in Dammam.
The authority said in a statement carried by SPA that the victims’ injuries ranged from minor to severe, and they were immediately transferred to hospitals to receive necessary medical care.
The authority added that the attack also caused material damage, which is currently being assessed.
