GFH announced the successful exit from its joint investment in Cyber Power Investment. The offering was designed to provide an improved balance between risk and return for investors, combining a joint investment in Cyber Power Services’ private investments with a portfolio of yield-enhancing liquid assets. Over a short holding period, this integrated investment structure tripled the invested capital and enabled investors to receive cumulative net cash distributions of approximately $173.5 million. GFH executed its joint investment in Cyber Power Services alongside Schroders Capital, while Greenbelt Capital Partners led the investment aimed at expanding the platform of a critical U.S.-based electrical infrastructure services company.
Cyber Power is an integrated platform offering solutions that include engineering, design, construction, testing, commissioning, and maintenance for critical electrical systems. It serves clients in the utilities, technology, industrial, energy, and data center sectors, as well as in renewable energy and battery energy storage systems.
Commenting on the deal, Hammad Yunus, CEO of GFH Equities and Chief Investment Officer of GFH, said: “We are proud of the successful exit from this important Cyber Power Investment, achieved at a time when global markets are facing numerous macroeconomic and geopolitical challenges, including a slowdown in exit activity. This result reflects our disciplined investment approach and value enhancement capabilities, as well as our ability to identify sectors and companies well-positioned to benefit from strong long-term trends. It also underscores the importance of collaborating with leading investment institutions such as Greenbelt and Schroders, alongside exceptional management teams whose interests are aligned with those of investors.”
