The Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) and Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) signed two agreements to enhance employment opportunities for graduates of nursing and emergency medicine at the company’s hospital in Ahmadi.

In a press statement on the occasion yesterday, PAAET Director General Dr. Hassan Al-Fajam emphasized that the two agreements reflect the authority’s commitment to strengthening its partnerships with state institutions and the oil sector, and aligning its educational and training outputs with the actual needs of the labor market. He noted that providing job opportunities for graduates and qualifying national talents in required specialties are priorities in the authority’s strategic direction.

For his part, Waleed Al-Rabiean, Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Administrative and Financial Affairs at Kuwait Oil Company, highlighted in a similar statement the importance of cooperation with PAAET in attracting qualified Kuwaiti talents and leveraging its outputs to meet the company’s needs in health-related specialties.

Al-Rabiean clarified that the two agreements support efforts to employ national cadres and fill job vacancies in targeted specialties, as well as open new avenues for further cooperation between the two parties, thereby enhancing graduates’ prospects of entering the labor market and contributing to providing the necessary expertise to support the company’s health services.
