Exhibition Allows University Students and Staff to Learn About Diverse Health and Awareness Services

The American International University (AIU) organized the second edition of its Health and Wellness Expo on its campus, with the participation of health institutions and companies specializing in healthcare, nutrition, and wellness. The expo was held as part of the university’s efforts to enhance health awareness and encourage members of its community to adopt habits that support their health and quality of life. The event offered a range of medical screenings, health services, and educational and interactive activities, in collaboration with specialized entities. It provided students, faculty, administrative staff, and visitors with the opportunity to learn about diverse services and products and to interact directly with representatives of participating organizations.

Activities included foot examinations using specialized scanning technologies, body composition and skin analysis, dental and oral screenings, and demonstrations on Basic Life Support (BLS). The expo also featured booths showcasing skincare and oral care products, organic foods and dietary supplements, as well as promotional packages and interactive and recreational activities.

Participants in the expo included Ladan Hospital, Med Cell Laboratory, Sidra Kuwait Hospital, Al Mowasah New Hospital, Comvita Q8, Arvia, GAR, Hayat Organic, REG, Global Medical Center, Badr Medical Center, Organic N’ More, Be Organic, KeraProx, and other health-related companies and institutions.

Through such initiatives, the American International University continues to support a campus environment that promotes health and wellness, fosters communication between the university community and specialized entities in the healthcare sector, and reaffirms, through the second edition of the expo, the university’s commitment to providing practical opportunities to raise awareness about health services and solutions that can contribute to improving quality of life.
