BAA Training has entered into a partnership with Jazeera Airways, the leading low-cost carrier in Kuwait, to deliver an integrated training program for the Air Transport Pilot License (ATPL Integrated), supporting Jazeera Airways’ growing needs for pilot training and qualification. Under the partnership, BAA Training will provide an 18-month integrated ATPL program, including Crew Resource Management (CRM) training, for two cohorts of trainee pilots. The first cohort began its training in August 2026 at BAA Training’s facilities in Lleida-Alguaire, Spain.

This partnership comes as Jazeera Airways prepares for the next phase of its growth, supported by the expansion of its fleet and route network. With the addition of new single-aisle aircraft to the fleet as part of the company’s growth plans, demand for qualified, high-skilled pilots is expected to rise significantly in the coming years.

Captain Ayman Al-Shammari, Chief Operating Officer at Jazeera Airways, said: “As Jazeera Airways enters the next phase of its growth, preparing a new generation of qualified, airline-ready pilots is a key priority for us. Our partnership with BAA Training strengthens the talent pool we need to support our fleet and route network expansion, while providing trainee pilots with high-quality, airline-specific training. This is an investment not only in enhancing our future operational capabilities, but also in developing the competencies that will play a vital role in continuing Jazeera Airways’ growth.”

The ATPL Integrated program is designed to deliver competency-based training, ensuring that trainee pilots master the technical skills and core competencies required to conduct flight operations safely and efficiently.

Marios Rafavitis, Chief Executive Officer at BAA Training, said: “Airlines such as Jazeera Airways are experiencing strong growth in the region, and the demand for qualified pilots is rising at an accelerating pace. We are pleased to be the official training partner of Kuwait’s largest private low-cost carrier and to support Jazeera Airways during this growth phase. This partnership is an important step in strengthening our position as a trusted provider of pilot training in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.”

Captain Abdulnasser Al-Mutairi, Head of Training at Jazeera Airways, said: “Selecting the right training partners is essential to building a strong base of skilled, qualified, and airline-ready pilots for Jazeera Airways in the future. The ATPL Integrated program offered by BAA Training, supported by an integrated Crew Resource Management (CRM) component, provides trainee pilots with a structured foundation tailored to airline requirements from the very beginning of their training journey.”
