Video: Ahmadi Security Directorate launches extensive operation in Sabah Al-Ahmad City

The Directorate of Security for Al-Ahmadi Governorate, represented by the Operations and Patrols Department and in collaboration with the Committee for Combating Negative Phenomena, carried out an extensive security operation in Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jarrah City, aimed at strengthening security presence, apprehending wanted individuals and violators, and combating negative social phenomena.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Interior, the operation resulted in issuing 127 traffic violation tickets, arresting 16 wanted persons and absconders, 11 individuals without identity documents, 8 violators of the residency and labor law, and 3 street vendors. It also led to the seizure of one person in possession of narcotics, another in possession of intoxicants, and a person wanted for psychiatric evaluation, in addition to seizing two vehicles subject to judicial warrants.

The Ministry of Interior’s statement added that, as part of the operation, the Committee for Combating Negative Phenomena cut off electricity supply to three containers used as housing for single men. The Ministry confirmed that all arrested individuals and violators have been referred to the competent authorities to take the necessary legal actions against them.
